Kurt Vollers
Owner/Co-Founder
Kurt grew up in Southern California, where his love for sports and competition started early. At Servite High School in Anaheim, he became a standout in football and track and field, earning national honors and recognition as one of the top recruits in the country. His athletic success led him to the University of Notre Dame, where he started at offensive tackle for three years while earning degrees in Marketing and Sociology.
After college, Kurt achieved his dream of playing in the NFL, spending time with the Indianapolis Colts and Dallas Cowboys. Those years taught him the importance of discipline, preparation, and proper movement—lessons that would later shape his career off the field.
For the past 13 years, Kurt has dedicated himself to the fitness industry in Tucson, managing and developing training programs that help people move better, get stronger, and live healthier lives. He’s earned more than 20 certifications covering corrective exercise, dietetics, and advanced movement training.
As co-founder of Train Better, Kurt’s mission is to share his passion for fitness and human performance with others. He believes that learning how to move well—no matter your age or ability—is the foundation for a stronger, more confident life.
